Keith has been practising law for more than 30 years with broad experience in commercial
and property law matters, including large construction projects and the related
town planning matters.
Prior to joining Harris Friedman, Keith was a partner at a commercial firm in Auckland
New Zealand and then worked in-house as International Legal Counsel overseeing the
legal issues of the LDS Church through first, 26 countries in the Pacific and then
more than 40 countries through the African continent.
Keith’s experience includes business entity structuring and compliance, cross-border
financing, taxation, insolvency and commercial dispute resolution. In 2011 Keith
published an international textbook on the law related to “Religious Confession
Privilege” and his article on Insolvency Law was published in the Australian Law
Journal.
Keith’s in-house clients have particularly valued his accessibility and willingness
to find practical, prompt solutions to problems allowing important relationships
to be preserved despite temporary disagreements.
Keith is a Senior Fellow of the Law and Religion
Centre at the J Reuben Clark School of Law in Provo,
Utah, and A Fellow of The Australian and New Zealand
College of Notaries.
In his spare time…
Keith enjoys his family and his grandchildren, long
distance motorcycle touring, reading and he has
written an Oratorio.
