Deb has an Honours degree in Law and a degree in Medical Science.

While having broad commercial experience, Deb has particularly focussed on the areas of commercial agreements, franchising, employment law, corporate governance and business transactions.

Deb has a practical approach offering straight forward analysis and advice. She has experience drafting a wide variety of commercial agreements and related documents, including preparing standardised contracts for use by businesses and transforming cumbersome or outdated contracts into clear, modern documents. Deb favours using plain English when drafting to produce legal documents that non lawyers can understand.

Deb has clients in the medical, dental, food and beverage, agri-business, architectural, IT, retail and fitness industries as well as educational institutions, incorporated associations and Government. She is enjoys getting to know her clients’ businesses and helping them reach their goals. Before joining Harris Freidman she worked in a commercial law team at a national firm.

In her spare time...
Deb enjoys going to the movies, reading National Geographic and eating great food.
